eezetee Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I was fumbling through trying to change the the ESC button within a single emulator. The ESC button is at the top of my panel (mapped by IPAC) and is kind of in the way when we play Golden Tee (Drunken buddies like to follow through with their shot for some reason) So I'd like to change the escape button to be F1 and mapped to a special button on the side (I put some spare buttons there) or anything but ESC as Hyperspin closes the EMU. 2nd question, when cycling through games, is there any way to avoid hte Hyperspin graphics like the flying start and full screen Hyperspin logo? It seems to slow down my PC.
eezetee Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 Was toying with "General Settings" -- Controlls ---- Exit Emulator Key under HyperLaunch. Not sure if that's the place to be.
eezetee Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 Anyone have an idea? The 2nd one is a bit of a PITA
eezetee Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 Dang, was gone for a few days and was hoping someone could help a fellow out. Especially with the 2nd question and stopping the extra animation for Hyperspin between game changes and menu changes. It really slows things down.
Silverback Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Look at your optimizer options in HyperHQ Here you will be able to adjust the amount of transitions and level of quality.
eezetee Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 Hi Silverback, are those transitions the "stock" hyperspin ones or will it affect the themes that i've put in the folders?
Silverback Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 It will relate to any transitions i believe. It changes how 'fancy' you want your system to look which puts more of a load onto the system. Try to untick some and to a trial and error to see what works best.
eezetee Posted December 5, 2014 Author Posted December 5, 2014 Thanks Silverback69. I removed the Level 1 and 2 Backgrounds and although the themes don't load as smoothly (there is a distinct transition) there is a lot less explosuion, falling start and other "stuff" on the screen which was a bit much. Cheers!
