thenoob Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Hi guys I'm contemplating adding newer style systems (n64/dreamcast/ps1) on my cabinet but I'm wondering if I can still use my xarcade controller w/ mame and older systems and use a wireless Logitech style controller for The newer ones? Reason being is obviously the analog stick controls etc. Makes it really hard to play with just the buttons almost not worth it, but love a lot Of those old games. Is it possible to do this? I'm guessing xpadder to set it up?? Hopefully I don't have to switch manually and I can just have the emulator automatically use the wireless controllers? Cheers!
jmoff82 Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Yes you can. Controllers are set at the emulator level so all you'd need to do is have the specific emulator (n64, psxfun, etc) setup to run your USB controller and not mapped to your tankstick.
