2 problems with gamecube emulation

guys I cant figure this out,i have 2 problems so far.

1.On exit of emulation,the screen goes black and I get a window box pop up of "do you want to exit this emulator" yes/no....then it crashes because I cant select anything else,no mouse pointer appears and I need to restart windows

2.i have super smash bros,everthing is setup in HS database and media like any other game,have quite a few and all them work fine,but when I go to the system the game doesn't appear at all,as if its not even there...I have even renamed it differently a few times (making sure everything matches up in database and media),but still the game doesn't show up

Make sure to include your log as it can help clear up alot of questions.

Can you get the games to work outside of HS? Do they work in HL?

It's also possible you may have something clicked in HyperHQ like "wheel only" and no wheel/wrong named wheel.

1. settings... untick the box asking yes/no on exit

2. make sure you have the correct extensions in HyperHQ. See what extension that game is and use it. CASE SENSITIVE

ok guys,the Game runs fine through Hyperlaunch,but wont appear in the wheel,the rom is the name as the rest and also matches all media/artwork etc

I cant see the wheel option in HHQ though,also ive never had to copy my log file,to show you guys how do I do this and post?

correct extensions in HyperHQ

Ok in HyperHQ my extension is, iso

All my games are the same type of file, they all work fine

my database matches all correct info,to rom name to media folder

the game as stated runs fine in HL

I even did iso,ISO

still the same....all games load and show bar the Smash bros one

it must be a database problem,i just typed in a link to database folder to see if it would turn up in wheel,but it didn't...would it be related to the missing games?

ok guys after messing about I finally got it, but the problem and fix didn't help me in understanding....what I did was remove the rom and then re-download it (the exact same one)....for some reason the game wheel accepted it first time..the strange thing was it was the exact same rom no difference in spelling anywhere,yet both roms worked fine,but one didn't read...strange.

Anyways managed to get it.....thanks for your help
