swisslizard
Hi For my cabinet build I'm using a Samsung UE46C6000 aquired from Ebay. This TV remembers its power state after having been disconnected from power, so it turns on automatically when the power comes back. Currently I'm looking for a 32'' screen for the backbox with the same behaviour. I guess the smaller Samsungs will behave like bigger models. Which other brands/models do also remember the power state of having been disconnected or turn off automatically (maybe some config setting of the TV) when they are connected to power? Thanks for all hints Tom
Aurich
This LG 32" does it out of the box: http://www.amazon.com/LG-32CS560-32-Inch-1080p-60Hz/dp/B0072B90R4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1346376564&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+32lk450 What I'm using for my backglass on my in-progress build. Honestly, I just went into Best Buy (US electronics store) went up to the demo unit, unplugged it, and plugged it back in. It worked like I hoped, so I bought it. Freesnyder
I'm using a Samsung LE32D550K1WXZG 32" TV in my Couch table. It remembers the power state too. I guess I was just lucky because I didn't think of it when buying the parts...lol
piggei
I think all the recent TVs from Samsung support this feature (I have two 40" and a 46", series 5 and 7). Haier TVs too turn on automatically (I have the 29" and 32" models).
