Hi guys just got mach3 added to my hard drive, works perfect when i run it using the Loader.

When i then run it through HS i get this..........

Hi,

Please post your daphne_log.txt files found in the emulator folder.

Launch the game from the loader and post it.

Then launch the same game from HS and post that log also.

I'm sure there will be some differences.

daphne_log.txt & HyperLaunch.log ????

Might as well post all three:

1) Daphne log (found in your emulator folder) when the game is launched from Daphne Loader

2) Daphne log (found in your emulator folder) when the game is launched from HyperSpin (or HyperLaunchHQ)

3) HyperLaunch.log (with logging level set to Troubleshooting)

Do you see the major difference above?

It is using two different frame files.

Point HLHQ to D:\Emulators\Daphne\framefile

and not to D:/Emulators/Daphne/vldp

See if that helps. ;)

Wow!! Yes, I have them backwards.

Change the rom path to "D:/Emulators/Daphne/vldp" in HyperLaunchHQ.

I can't believe i made such a silly mistake Thanks will give it a try now

Not a mistake at all.

Some of those games have the framefile in the same directory as the audio/video files.

On my setup, I moved them to the framefile directory and point HLHQ there.

That way I can use rom filtering in HyperHQ.

Ok,

So this issue is this.

Daphne loader (for that game) is using the framefile in "D:/Emulators/Daphne/vldp/mach3/mach3.txt".

HyperLaunch is using the framefile in "D:\Emulators\Daphne\framefile\mach3.txt".

One is a good framefile and the other is not.

Be sure HLHQ Rom path is "D:\Emulators\Daphne\framefile"

Copy the file "D:/Emulators/Daphne/vldp/mach3/mach3.txt" and paste it into "D:\Emulators\Daphne\framefile".

Now, open up the file "D:\Emulators\Daphne\framefile\mach3.txt" in NotePad and change the first line to:

..\vldp\mach3\

Save the file.

Test and it should work.
