thomas3120 Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Was wondering(probably missing something really easy) if you can map a separate key or macro to exit Hyperspin (i.e. to desktop) and still use Escape key to exit games and systems in HyperSpin (but not exit Hyperspin) Is this possible? Thomas
Agrajag Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Use HyperHQ to set the HyperSpin exit key, and HyperLaunchHQ to set the emulator exit key. It's advisable not to use Esc for the latter as some emulators use it to switch from fullscreen back to windowed mode. HyperSpin behaving oddly? Read about known bugs here: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/4590-known-bugs-and-handy-hints-for-hyperspin/ The installer for HyperSpin now includes HyperLaunch 2. thomas3120 Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 Just making sure what Exit settings do what: Before I just used the default Esc. to exit game, system and Hyperspin-to desktop. I added a hidden button that I want to use to only exit HyperSpin (to desktop). I also have a red pushbutton on the CP to exit games and systems. Here in HyperHq This is to exit HyperSpin to desktop? Here in HyperLaunch Is to exit games and systems? Here is another one I found in Settings Main (more for system settings?...) Would the above be correct? t
Agrajag Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Yes. The one in HyperHQ is to back out of the wheels and exit to Windows, the others are for exiting emulators and killing the HyperLaunch script it it gets stuck. You can set it so the exit emulator key needs to be held down, to avoid accidentally quitting a game if you hit the button by mistake. HyperSpin behaving oddly? Not sure if I made any sense in my post above... Wanting to have a key/macro for sole purpose of exiting Hyperspin back to the desktop. I tried entering a key/macro in HyperHQ but this exits the current emulator in Hyperspin (back to main wheel menu) & also exits Hyperspin to desktop. 'Escape' only exits a currently running game. I'd like to have the 'escape' key exit a game & exit a currently selected emulator(and go to main hyperspin wheel) but not exiting HS if 'escape' key is pressed again (from main HS wheel). Then have a seperate key to exit Hyperspin altogether(to desktop)--> this would be my hidden button. Would this be possible? thomas
