The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

What Emulators are for what Systems (List)

I get sluggish performance using BSNES which is weird as hell considering how old the emu is and that I run snes9x and other EMU's perfectly.

Are you using x64 or x86? x64 is most accurate but a lot tougher on your system. x86 is still, I believe, much more accurate than other emulators but it will work well with lower PC specs. I typically run x64 on a dedicated, modern gaming PC and x86 on any laptops, tablets, or lower end desktops. It can require a fairly beefy gamign rig to run x64 at peak capacity at times. The best way I can think to describe it is that x64 practically turns your PC into a perfect virtualization of a real SNES and x86 incorporates a few minor workarounds to get as close to the same experience as possible without being so demanding. Personally, I'm still running v0.87 as it's been flawless for me in every way and I've had no cause to update to Higan.

If someone can handle at least x86 I strongly feel BSNES is still their best choice for SNES emulation. I wasn't aware of the inaccuracies of other emulators until BSNES achieved accuracy to the clock cycle but once you see what's missing in some games with the competition, it can be hard to go back.

Thanks for all the info guys... now i must try lot of emu's, like Xebra or Mednafen for PSX, because i always used ePsxe, and worked well for me.

I never used Mednafen or RetroArch, so i must sit a couple of hours and give them a try.

Thanks again!
