theundeadelvis Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Hey guys! I'm running 0.159 with HLSL and RocketLauncher. I'm having some strange inconsistencies when launching certain games, for example Gauntlet rev.14. At times it will launch with bezel art that has the MAME logo on each side, and sometimes it's will be just blue blocks (kinda tetris-esque). Also, and this happens every time, when the game launches it is initially windowed (with another window visible behind it), then the bezel art comes in after a slight delay. Mouse cursor is also visible. Any ideas what may cause this? Other games seem to work just fine, and the behavior seems completely random. Thanks in advance!
Dubbloseven Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 on the first point and question you made if there is no bezel for that particular game or for a clone of it only; it will load the default bezel. In your default bezel folder there's probably a number of default bezels in one folder. find one you like or leave them all in the folder and they will alternate each time you load a different game. gigapig Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 For the second point, are you using fade to hide the windows?
theundeadelvis Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 This makes sense. Thanks! on the first point and question you made if there is no bezel for that particular game or for a clone of it only; it will load the default bezel. theundeadelvis Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 I'm using the default Hyperlaunch settings, not sure if it's enabled or not? It's strange that it works fine for some games, but for ones like Gauntlet it's like it s launching it windowed. Thanks for the replies! For the second point, are you using fade to hide the windows?
