whirlybird7
I'm getting ready to start my build this week and I'm looking online for buttons. Where did you get yours? Any Hyperspin members have stores that we can give our money to?
jonnieboyrevel
I'm mid build myself at the moment and have bought all my stuff from Ultimarc. I've been very pleased with everything so far and they are quick to respond to any queries etc... The only other thing I would say is that it's worth spending a bit more and getting some recognised buttons. I bought joysticks and buttons from somewhere cheap on a previous build and was never that happy with them. I guess some of its personal preference though... Good luck with your build! jonnieboyrevel
Ultimarcs buttons are the bottom of the barrel type, same ones you would find on ebay for super cheap. As far as I know, my Ultralux Buttons from Ultimarc came with modified Happ micro switches. They used to come with Sanwa switches but too many people suggested they were too hard a press. The joysticks are Sanwa. These are very different from the un-named buttons and joysticks I bought on Ebay previously. The switches work better and the overall build quality feels far more solid. As I said above though, I don't claim to be an expert. I may have just convinced myself they are better as I paid more for them... With regards to the delivery time, mine only took a couple of days but I am based in the UK.
