What advantage does the launcher have over the existing Pinball FX2 module? If there is an advantage, i'd be gladto take a peek.

Thanks,

Ron

with the module it never runs first time, when i boot up machine for first time and run pinball fx2 it dont select my table it just stays at southpark waiting for me to select a table. so i exit out of it and select a table again and it runs fine and selects my table i choosen. with nuke launcher it run the first time with no problems. it also does the same with pinball arcade that never works first time either but ok if i run it again.

Hmmm... I can't get it to work for me.

I changed the XMLFile to point to my database. I now get a pop up dialogue box that says "Good news" and to click OK. Just sits there.

When I click OK. It goes on but always selects the first game in my grid.

I changed the grid to 9x6, and now it selects nothing. Yea, 9x6 is not described as an option in the ini. But that's what my setup has.

Changed it back to 7x7 and it selects a game, but will not hit play.

I'll blow it away and try again... But not promising on my setup. :S

Thanks,

Ron

lol

I haven't given up yet.

I figured out what my problem with nukelauncher is. It didn't guess all the right tables and they were out of order. I messed with the timing and it works.

I think your issue with your cab and the module is timing as well. When I run it on my cab, it runs with all the defaults just fine.

When I run it on my PC, with other processes running also, I have to adjust the timings to get it right. But as far as I can see, there is nothing that nukelauncher can do that the official module can not.

Try this:

The nukelauncher initial sleep is defaulted to 15000 where as the module is defaulted to 12000. Try setting that to 15000 in the module settings.

See if that resolves your issue with the first launch. If it's still not picking the right game, try increasing the Sleep_Base_Time from default (1) to 1.5 or 2. This will slow the launch way down, but if the game does launch correctly, you know it's in the timing. ;)

Thanks,

Ron

that did the trick change it to 15000 and that worked and its picking the right tables thanks for the help.

Sweet!

I have one question. Do you have the football (soccer) table?

Does the x2 and y2 allow you to launch the table instead of choosing a team??

Thanks,

Ron

Ahhh. Got it. When you go to Zen Football. it gives a list of different football tables. :D

I'll play around with mine a bit and see how it all works.

when you say -- existing Pinball FX2 module? Are you referring to Pinball fx2.ahk file?

Correct. The current Pinball FX2 module (Pinball FX2.ahk) is version 2.0.5.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Try using Pinball FX2 without nukelauncher. The Pinball FX2 module in HyperLaunch will do everything that the launcher does.

Where does one get this file

It is included in the HyperLaunch/RocketLaunch update. Check the RocketLauncher web site for details.
