Preview video's sound is still playing after launching a "virtual emulator" game

Hi everyone. I am trying to set it up so that I can launch Steam games by creating a wheel entry for the game and then having hyperlaunch launch a shortcut to the game. I am able to launch the game, but the audio from the game's preview video in Hyperspin is playing over the game audio. How can I stop this from happening?

Is there a reason for launching Steam games in such a way instead of using the Steam ID?

I've only had issues with hearing the video in the background if I launch a game to quickly, but it doesn't happen very often.
