BlueGoblin Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 I keep getting this script error message. Any idea how to fix this?
zerojay Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 You've given us absolutely zero context in which to help you with.
BlueGoblin Posted March 26, 2015 Author Posted March 26, 2015 This error shows up a few minutes after booting if i am in windows mode. sometimes when in hyperspin, this error message shows up... it sort of has a mind of its own
onyxcamaroz28 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I've seen many of those in IE, could you maybe have some malware? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BlueGoblin Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 Ran a scan for Malware.... Nothing found
wesfranks Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Since your screen cap references a page load script error, one might assume it is referring to an Internet Explorer error. Check in Internet Explorer-->, Internet Options--->, Advanced (tab)-- scroll down to browsing section and see if "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" is checked. Mine is checked by default along with "Disable script debugging (Other)", but you might have changed some settings. The question about malware was a good one. You usually don't get IE errors during boot unless something is trying to phone home. BTW, negative scan for malware/virus is no guarantee. How long has your Windows install been on line? Windows updates status, firewall, etc.? I would probably be concerned or at the least curious. If all is good otherwise and it is a script debug notification, disabling script debugging should be OK. My understanding is that many pages are not html compliant and the debug state is for web admins to check their site, not for end users to receive notifications. Hope it helps.
wesfranks Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Rex, I believe he has moved on to a better place (aka a new thread).
