esoteric
In case you're not familiar, there is an awesome arcade game with great graphics called "Savage Quest." You play as a dinosaur and you can eat people and fight other dinosaurs. It's still unplayable (considered a "skeleton") in MAME .160 and there doesn't appear to be any recent progress on getting it to work. Here is the story so far: https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/master/src/mame/drivers/savquest.c What do you think the odds are that someone will eventually get this beast working? Styphelus
Oh well. With over 3000 Mame games and hundreds of thousands of other games in dozens of other systems, I can't say I will miss this one particular game.
cowbells
I'm sure it'll get emulated eventually.
esoteric
I think the main problem is this: H/W is a white-box PC consisting of: Pentium II 450 CPU DFI P2XBL motherboard (i440BX chipset) 128 MB RAM Guillemot Maxi Gamer 3D2 Voodoo II Sound Blaster AWE64 Protected by a HASP brand parallel port dongle. I/O board has a PIC17C43 which is not readable.
