Harrisonm65 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Hi all After dipping my toe in the water with Hyperspin a long time ago, I had to take a break before I even really got started. However I now have a new load of hardware all built and the Hyperspin build is coming on nicely. I have MAME more or less all set up bar some final tweaking (duplicate game removal etc) and am loving it. MY question here though relates to my N64 emulator. Im using Project64 and using it on its own, my ROMS all work fine. However, when I try to run them in Hyperspin, I get told that the ROM names dont match. I think I know the problem but I dont know how to solve it. Basically, all my ROM files are named with a certain initial at the end depending on its country e.g. "Starfox (J)" for Japan. In Hyperspin though, its looking for a file called "Starfox (Jap)". Is there a simple way to rename my ROMs to match the Hyperspin db? Im pretty sure there is (or was) a little program to do this but I cant seem to find much on it anymore. Thanks in advance people.

It will unzip your roms, rename them and zip them back up. Be sure and use fuzzy match. I will PM you a link to the most updated version. Thanks, Ron Code Monkey and all around Command Line geek!If you like what someone has said or done for you, be sure and 'Thank' them. And if they changed your life, send them a Beer!
Harrisonm65 Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 I knew there was something out there for this! Cheers for the heads up Ron. Much appreciated.
