The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

noob question, hitting enter doesn't launch games?

Howdy Hackers,

Hello I am new to the world of hyperspin!

I have setup with art wheels and videos a full working MAME system.

The only problem is that within hyperlaunchHQ it works, on the hyperspin wheel i can see everything but when i press enter, nothing happens..

Log say (example)

06:19:42 PM |  HyperLaunch Command Line is: D:\hyperspin\HyperLaunch.exe "MAME" "gfire2"
06:19:43 PM |  Launching Game
06:19:43 PM |  Using HyperLaunch
06:19:43 PM |  Getting HyperLaunch path
06:19:43 PM |  HyperLaunch located at D:\hyperspin\HyperLaunch.exe
06:19:43 PM |  Running HyperLaunch.exe

Does apply also on Atari Lynx (working with ALT+L inside hyperlaunhHQ , nothing on hyperspin)

And nothing else,
what am i doing wrong?
Thanks in Advance

Check task manager to see if HyperLaunch is still running. If it is, force close it and try again. If so, it's likely you're accidentally using an older version of HL that shipped (ships?) with Hyperspin; best to get the newest version.

surfino,

griffin518 could be right about HyperLaunch still running and interfering with further actions.

But if that does not work, just to throw out something stupid.....  You mention Alt-L launching your game in HyperLaunch. HyperSpin works off of different keys. If you haven't changed anything in the control panel of HyperHQ (note: not HyperLaunchHQ) try launching your game in HyperSpin by hitting either the 1 key (player 1) or 2 key (player 2). If that doesn't work, open HyperHQ and check the "Controls" tab and see what keys are set for Start.

Just a shot in the dark.
