how to select own BIOS in Demul

Does any one know how I can set my bios in Demul so the HyperLaunch AHK files does not change it back to Auto Region as it keeps doing

 

I know how to use demul.ini but the actual AHK module keeps changing it back and I cant work out how to set hyperspin to keep it to the one I specify

I remember I had to use Read only permission on certain cfg files in Demul to get it to work the way I wanted.  Maybe that may help?  Set it up outseide of hyperspin and read permission only its ass!

cool I will try that.

 

although from the module it seems ther eis a way djvj wrote the module that it is possible to set it I just cant figure out how

I know this is most likely necro'ing an old thread but since it's taken me awhile to work out the issue I thought I'd save people the time.

 

To set the bios for each game so that it stops using autobios you can do either of these.

 

Once you have demul setup in rocketlauch select sega naomi (its the same for sammy)

click the emulators tab, select demul in the emulator (of whatever you called it)

click edit global module settings

click on Rom setttings and add the game then set the bios at the bottom.

 

This can take some time to add all the roms in.

 

The other way is to open Hyperspin\Rocketlauncher\Modules\Demul|demul (0.7).ini

Copy and paste the information in the window below  into this file.

Please note this sets the bios to English for everything I've tested and will save you having to set it yourself.

 

I'm having issues getting vf4 to work for some reason it keeps defaulting to Japan. Will need to find out where the issue is.

 

I hope this saves someone some time.
