problem with visual pinball

Hey

 

I have a problem with visual pinball in hyperpsin.

When i select a table it plays fine.

But when i close the table and want to select a new table i get this error:

 

there was an error waiting for the window ahk_class to become active

 

Also hyperlaunch doesn't close it will be active in the taskbar.

 

Can anyone help me?

welcome to the forum and

 

1. make sure you have VP.exe  running with admin privileges.

allot of errors are generated because windows places restrictions on the program.

 

2. Open  VP go to

Preferences --> keys -->  look for the " Disable ESC key" and make sure you have a check on it.

if you launch a table outside of Hyperspin use the "Q" to exit

if you launch a table WITH Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher use the key(s) you usually use to exit your games  (mine is ESC).

 

 

you may need to do some per module settings,  but that depends on your system.  hopefully this fixes your problem.

I have al these settings but the problem is still there

if you running the latest version of the module and have ESC disable in VP.

 

you will need to edit the module settings.

 

Go to HyperlaunchHQ  --> Global Settings --> Click emulators tab --> select your Global VP emulator --> click on 

 

"Edit Global Module Settings"

 

you will have to play with this settings

EscClose= True/false

Show DMD = True/Flase

ValidateDMDLaunch = True/false

UpdateDefaultDMD = true/false

 

this is what I have, start from here and see if your problems are fixed.

Hey 32 assassin thank you for your reaction.

 

I was going to tried what you told me but when i click on edit global module settings i got this error : module doesn't have an associated isd file.

So i think my problem starts here.

 

Can u help me?

go to your modules folder

 

you should have 3 files in their

 

Visual Pinball.AHK

Visual Pinball.INI

Visual Pinball.ISD

I have them now but the problem is still there.

Hyperlaunch is still remaning in the taskbar.

i have the same problem when i launch a table from hyperspinHQ in hyperlaunch.

When i exit the table hyperlaunch stays in the taskbar.
