The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Shutting down Hyperspin in a script?

Hi All,

I'm nearing completion of a bartop Hyperspin (Primary function) alongside Jriver and a few other apps.

I'd like to make a certain keyboard sequence exit the emulator (if any) and close Hyperspin.  The reason is I may use a remote with a button to launch a script.

The likely sitatuion is I'm playing a quick game of NBA JAM and it's time for dinner and I need to Skype a family memory oversears. I'd like to push a single button, have it close Hyperspin and launch the other program.  The launch I can do,  how to gracefully close the emu's and Hyperspin.

Is Taskkill /IM the answer? Tried that and got a Hyperspin stopped responding error

Are you using AHK to do it?

I'm thinking of a simple Windows macro utility that just hits ESC a bunch of times, then launches "program X" from the desktop.  Would be simpler right?

The only unknown is if an emulator will be open at the time (not me, my house guests)
