hyperspin not wrapping rom in quotes

Hi guys, I'm relatively new but I've spent hours fiddling around with everything. I'm running HS 1.3 and Rocketlauncher 1.0 after the new update - took a while to transition over and running into lots of problems which I think I've pretty much isolated to hyperspin sending it's arguments (i.e. rom name) and parameters to rocketlauncher.

I used the transition tool from the rlauncher site and djvj has noted that there seems to be a bug where hyperspin is not wrapping rom names in quotes and any spaces are misinterpreted to mean additional arguments.

To get around some of the issues, the transition tool now defaults to making it use the full rom path in the system ini.

I'm encountering issues where even with that setting, I can't load games that are in sub folders (i.e nullDCs GDI files in their own folders with bins) because the subfolders are not being passed in the full rom path to hyperlauncher (despite ticking the box to search subfolders in HyperHQ).

I feel like the quotation issue is probably why I had a few issues with other systems too but I figure they worked out with tweaking, like the comma after the extension, because they didn't need subfolders.

Any fixes or am I doing something wrong?

FYI: My current fix for this is to 7z all my dreamcast roms, that way it doesn't need a subfolder (also. saves space and is compressed, albeit with the cost of time to load)

It's not hyperspin job to find or launch games in subfolders. That falls on RocketLauncher or whatever launcher you use. If you need further support on this, please post it on www.rlauncher.com.

Well I haven't quite worked out the thing about roms/bin/cues in their own folder - you are probably right, it is probably a launcher thing.

But I still can't work out the extensions thing in hyperspin - all my games run from rocketlauncher. However, I can only put one extension in hyperHQ and it has to be followed by a comma - like so "7z," but if I had any more extensions or omit the comma, every game fails to run as if the parameters are not being passed correctly the respective emulator.

This is even with use full path to roms and search subfolders checked.

I have read the transition guide too, those settings don't seem to work.

So at the moment I've 7zipped all my roms.
