blakeb811 Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Hello. I'm sure this has been addressed before but I have come up empty handed in my searches so far. I'm pretty new to hyperspin, but I do have it up and running well. I want to create a custom mame wheel that has the two player clones of some 4 player games, such as the Simpsons and teenage mutant ninja turtles so you can select the characters without adding the thousands of clones to my list. I downloaded dons hyperlist generator and it says it can't find my mame executable file so I can't scan and create my own list. It comes up with the error every time and I don't see any mame list in the mame folder. So my question is either has anyone experienced the same problem, or is there someone who would share a custom list they've created? The only requirements I care about is no mahjong or gambling style games and the important 2 player clones available as the parent roms. Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

ryuuji Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 What you need is to setup first in HyperHQ and Hyperlaunch the emulator and roms locations. Second you need a good XML editor not notepad. In Hyperspin/Databases/Mame/Mame.xml you will find a full list and there you can see the main games and their clones and make sure you have in your roms the main game and a clone. The entries in the xml file may be tricky so check 2 times the names. I made my own custom list for all systems. #thisismydesign by ryuuji is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.
