upod21 Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Hello all, I seem to be having a problem with audio once the game is launched. The audio plays great with video during the preview when clicking through the games. However, once the game is selcted and after it loads; the games audio sounds horrible. It's nothing like the music that plays when picking a game. Is this a retroarch issiue, or is it through RL/HS?
Aorin Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Try muting your emulator when it's loading, in General settings inside RLUIyou have that option, see if this solve your problem, if it does, it's not HS or RL or RLUI problem but the emulator. But, whatever if this solve your sound problem, don't bother trying to figure out what's that. Aorin
upod21 Posted May 16, 2015 Author Posted May 16, 2015 Is that an option in the new version of RLUI? Because I'm not seeing the mute option.
Aorin Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 You go to your emulator, settings tab, fade - general and set mute emulator on fade to True. Aorin
upod21 Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 I set it to true, but as soon as I launch the rom the music is still messed up. I also tried running the emulator by itself and it still sounds bad. Are there any sound profiles in HS that need to be updated? Because it might have something to do with my drivers.

So you see that your problem has nothing to do with HS or RLUI. Try sticking to other emulator. Aorin
upod21 Posted May 27, 2015 Author Posted May 27, 2015 Thanks for the help. I changed the emulator and the audio is working great. I'm disappointed that I can't use RetroArch but oh well.
