hyperspin just keeps spinning

So I've had everything set up the way I like it for a few weeks but all of a sudden today I go to play a game and my menu won't stop spinning... 

 

I unplugged my controller and tried to use keyboard no change, I then re-set all my keys in HyperHQ and in Hyperlaunch, restarted my laptop but still not change

I can't select a system because it won't stop spinning , I have to exit using task manager or if i'm lucky when i click escape at the right moment but that rarely happens.

If anyone could tell me what the hell is going on i would be very grateful.

Have you got speakers connected?

Have you checked joystick/spinner/trackball in the control section of hyperhq? If so uncheck them.

No speakers, and I have checked that they are unchecked still having problem

Are you using the startup script and have Wiimotes connected?
