Coin button

Hello,

 

I have the lastest version Hyperspin installed using MAME and RocketLauncher with an X-Arcade joystick.

 

Currently I press button 5 on my X-Arcade joystick to "insert coins" when using MAME, but I would like to change it to button 3 on my X-Arcade joystick. I'm probably overlooking something very obvious in a setting somewhere, but for the life of me I can't find where it is. Anyone have some ideas?

I'm sure you have your reasons to use the X-arcade  but this is one of the many reasons why most of us don't like that controller.

 

 

load MAME 

hit TAB

 

configure player 1 GENERAL controls

 

make sure you configure the default, general controls not the game specific controls.   Or you will have to modify the coin button for each game you run.

mame has a X-arcade controller plugin  witch you can modify to fit your needs,  but you are better off going to the X-arcade support site and ask questions their.
