Hyperspin 1.3.3 stuck in main menu

Hello all I am trying to set up hyperspin on my son's new computer. I have set up 3 other computers in the house and have no problems with them. When I set it up on him and on one of mine it will not go past the main menu. When I choose a game system it flashes and goes back to menu with out giving the game list, Like its not finding the .xml files to load here is a copy of the log file from one of the computers I am having problems with.

Please if anyone can help or give me some ideas I have been working on this for a week

You've choosen in hyperhq "roms only"? Unmark if so and try again

The only thing I have changed from default on hyperhq is to go to full screen on start. 

 

I am not sure where or have seen where the "roms only" is at

None of my setting have roms only set.

Damn I feel like an Idiot. Thank you volumetric My video card was causing my sound card to not work. Once I changed the video and the sound started working it fixed the problem Thank you so much

You're welcome sir, I have it on good authority that this issue has been fixed in the latest beta. Glad it was a simple fix
