Hoping some one can help me out here Im lost. I have been running Hyperspin for about 2 months and I had a Xin-Mo with xpadder setup to Nav thru hyperspin. I just switched to a Ipac-4 and I cant for the life of me fig how to set it up to work with Hyperspin. I have it working fine in MAME using the default programming but no control in hyperspin. I was using the startup scrip. All the buttons output keyboard commands.

My understanding is windows sees the Xin-Mo as a gamepad device hence why you can use it in xpadder.

Ipac-4 is a keyboard encoder only (windows doesn't see it as a gamepad), so you can't use it in a program such as xpadder.

You could use something like autohotkey as explained here with your ipac if you need to remap keys.

Otherwise just configure you emulators to use keyboard keys as setup in the ipac software.

Ok Ill check it out didn't know this was going to be such a pain just to get hyperspin controll. I liked the xin-mo but did have all the buttons i needed and it gave a bad lag in games like pinball. I have the 2015 ipac 4 that does joystick mode so i might see if that's a way to go on some buttons.
