Sounds to me that there is a problem with you Nintendo entertainment system.ini file (in the systems folder). Backup everything first. Then go and grab the older version backed up by the transition tool. Use this in place of the the current ini got NES. Should work. MAME High Score Tutorial For HyperSpin
