Wheel Filters Hyper HQ problem

Hello everybody,

 

Well, my problem is simple: I don't have the possibility to have a list without clones in HS with MAME (MamePlus64 0.161) ! So I have a list with, for example: 5 "1943", 4 "1941", 7 "19XX", 6 "Galaga" etc

 

In Hyper HQ, I check and uncheck the box "Wheel Filters: Parents Only", nothing change...

 

A database problem ?...I don't understand what is the problem because before the update to RL, I had a clean list and this option ran fine.

You cannot use rom filtering with hyperspin 1.3 and rl. So ur options are:

1. Go platinum and download beta version of hs 1.4 (this does allow rom filtering with rl)

2. Filter roms a different way - wheels etc

3. Use hyperlaunch instead of rl

Here is a link to a setup guide for rl. It doesn't implicity say that rom filtering will not work, but it does say you must leave rom folder and extensions field blank (which in turn explains why filtering won't work - hs uses these 2 fields to filter roms normally)

Yes but the "Parents Only" should still be working as you don't need to set paths for that. But fredlac2 wants to show clones so possibly a DB isssue. Where did you DB come from?

Make sure you don't  have "Wheels only" or "Themes only " checked  as well.

Thx for the support ! I don't speak, read and write english very well but if I understand what you said :

 

* @ Dunk3000 : the solutions 2 and 3 aren't good for me.

I have to take HS Beta 1.4...I don't like very much this solution because I have my 35 systems configured right now and I don't want to lose my effort now... but It appears like the good solution.

Can you confirm please that the HS 1.4 installation will solve this ?
