custom marquee

Hiya!!

 

   I am in the beginning of mu build so I have a few basic questions.

  

I really want the marquee to change with each game.   When I am playing Pac-Man I want the marquee on the top to be Pac-Man.  monitor suggestions and cabinet suggestions for this?

 

 

 

   Where can I get the best arcade cabinet kits and art work.

Hello and welcome to the forums!

 

There are a couple progrmas to help with marquee changing.  Take a look in the Downloads section for HyperMarquee: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/files/file/7397-hypermarquee/

There is also a program called Marquee Magic, but not sure where to find it. 

There is also a program that will display more than just he marquee on up to three monitors: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/930-or8itals-hyperspin-helper-software-2nd-3rd-display-controller/?hl=or8ital

If you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty, check your local vending company or Craigslits for an old non-working cab. I picked up mine for $50.00. The arcade board and monitor were fried and the cab was well used. But I couldn't even buy the wood for that much, mush less the hardware et al.

Just another option.

Just following up on the Marquee topic. I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer:

 

Is there MAME Marquee art work available for Hyperspin?

 

Is there a forum topic available dedicated to MAME Marquee art work, just like the MAME Wheel art work topic?

 

What is the Hyperspin pixel size for MAME Marquee art work? (I note that for MAME wheel art that it is 400px wide x 225px height)
