  1. Hi thanks for your reply. I went to a site called http://www.arcadeartwork.org/. That’s where I got most of the artwork from
  2. Well everyone I have finished what I would call The Programming stage. I made a video of what I have accomplished so far.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxXC_fJ_Z5A please check it out and everyone on this forum THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!!
  3. THATMAN84. The only piece of advice that I can give to you so far is that you go on YouTube and watch tutorial videos on how to set up Hyperspin Rocket launcher retro arch the one channel that you definitely want to subscribe to is simply Austin
  4. Let me first say how grateful I am that all of you have replied and here I am gonna be adding one more system to my build and after I lock this down has to be transferred over to the main computer that will inhabit the cabinet I have been designing everything on my main desktop upstairs and I’m going to be buying a new computer and transferring everything that I’ve designed into that.call me paranoid it’s just that every time I turn hyper spin on my afriad something is just going to break all by itself. Once I get the cabinet ready and the Control Panel that begins the long process of configuring the Control Panel to games. And then you’re absolutely right about making sure that the USB connections are easily accessible because three of my systems, N64, PS2 and SNES I am going to buy separate controllers for each of those systems and not rely on the Control Panel. So far I have configured MAME, Atari 2600 5200 7800 and Lynx. Mattel Intellivision, Coleco vision PlayStation 2 Sega master system Sega Genesis Sega CD Sega 32x and Vectrex. I know I missing something anyway I am very proud of what have set up so far. I have to confide in you I had no idea what I was getting into a year and a half ago I had no idea what hyper spin was rocket launcher or how to configure any of the emulators I simply learn by watching tutorials on YouTube
  5. Hello everyone I’m just about done with all the software now I’m getting ready to work on my cabinet. And I began to think about all of you out there and I began to wonder, how much maintenance do you have to perform on your cabinet and the PC and the software to make sure everything is running ok? And I have sat here and designed the Hyperspin lay out For 17 systems and I have to ask myself what I have configured is it stable? Is it normal errors might crop up from time to time? Basically I’m wondering what I have configured is it a stable build how can I check and be certain? Once you have finished your cabinet do you constantly add more systems or for you once the cabinet is done it’s done? I have to tell all of you I had no idea about the people who sell preconfigure hard drives out there, but I must tell you that I blundered into hyper spin and from their rocket launcher and the other emulators and configured my game cabinet from scratch. I am so proud of what ihave accomplished. I tend to refer to my Hyperspin configuration as my midlife crisis game system partly because I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it! And I am I am glad I chose to configure my system from scratch knowing what I know today! So my questions above are for me to understand what lays ahead as I built my cabinet and what things I may encounter and that’s the reason I am concerned about how stable my configuration
  6. Hi sent him a quick email I have not got a response back yet
  7. First of all let me apologize if I am posting this question in the wrong subsection Let me first explain what I want to do.....I am building an arcade game cabinet and I would like to use LED Blinky for accent lighting, None of the buttons on my control panel will light up. LED Blinky does have one function I do want for MAME and that is, it announces the name of the game. This is something that I will incorporate into my cabinet. In my game cabinet I have a jukebox program and I want to use LED Blinky for accent lighting using RGB tape light as seen below in my pictureIn the next picture is how I want the RGBLED tape lights to be locatedI think the setting “color intensity spectrum” will work perfectly for my cabinet. As the music is playing, the LED’s will create a “light organ effect”. The length of each LED rope light will be approximately 12 to 18inches long. Now this is where I need your help, advice, and recommendations based on your wisdom!1) What Led Board would you recommend based on my needs? I know that Ulitmarc Selsl two controllers The PAC LED 64 & the PAC Drive I am worried about the voltage needed to make three 18 to 24 inch RCG LED tape lights work. :badmood:2 Will my idea work? I have been told that This will not work unfortunately. The PacLED64 has current-controlled outputs at 20 milliamps for one LED only and will not drive multiple LEDs on a strip. if this is so, how does normal led light strips light? I am NOT very versed on electronics. I understand voltages/watts/ adapter polarity but please understand my electronic electrical knowledge is limited. :dizzy:I have been searching for the answer to this question for awhile without any help and I am appealing to anyone who reads this please reply and give me some assistance on this project. Again let me express my sincerest thanks for you to take out your time and read this post.An y and all help and suggestions would be appreciated...THANK YOU!!!!!!! :
  8. you know everyone this problem I had was the MOST daunting of them all....MANY THANKS TO ALL HERE Not only have I got the overlays working (after two months of Head Baggers Ball) But the bezel as well Many Thanks
  9. Hello everyone! thank you all for the replies..... I cant see his pictures either I agree that their cabs DONT MATCH a TRUE arcade machine. But without woodworking skills I am limited. But why I started this post was to find out about peoples experiences with the company. Now I know there is a company out there also called Northcoast Custom Arcades but what has moved me off them is that their cabs take a real Monitor and not a 40 inch LED. Anyway I agree Rec Room Masters Cabs are not authentic but I must make allowances. I want to hear about anyone's customer experiences with that company and I can make my decision. If I hear impressions overwhelmingly good , then its a go...or bad ....then I really don't need to have a game cab......(it would have been a great idea but...........) is my thoughts................ Many thanks all!

  11. Ok everyone I am searching to buy a game Cabinet and Rec Room Masters is at the top of my list. I don't want a Cabinet that I gotta restore and I don't have woodworking skills. So you might say, Rec Room Masters is a no brainer. But I want to hear you impressions and thoughts All Good and All Bad. Many thanks!
  12. Please close this thread as I have solved the problem. the solution is to 1st go into retro arch make sure that all of the overlays or working, then go into rocket launcher under the settings that control the emulator there is an edit function going to romps settings and individually configure each game to search for the configure file that is for each overlay.
  13. ok. Finally I have had a minor success I was able to get Berzerk working through Retro Arch and the Overlays are working. As of this moment I am making Cfg files for my roms........But.... when I try and boot up. Vectrex thru Rocket Launcher the Overlays will not show up................ what am I now missing with. This........?.?.?a.
  14. Well I have some work to do next week next Saturday I won't be able to work on this until then stay tuned
