  1. I understand this is not a hyperspin specific problem but I'm hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. I'm running Hyperspin/Rocket Launcher on a bartop with a Windows 7 64bit OS. It's a 2-player setup with Sanwa joysticks and 8 buttons/player (Xin Mo settup). These joysticks are configured in Rocket Launcher/Hyperspin as P1 & p2. I purchased 2 Xbox One wireless controllers so I could play 4-player games in MAME. The controllers both connect fine and are seen by all programs (Xpadder/Windows/Mame/Rocketlauncher etc). The problem is when I connect them they take over the P1 and P2 bindings, rendering the arcade controls inoperable. I tried to set the controllers up with different keyboard bindings in xpadder but that didn't work. In MAME I can rebind everything inside each game (Xbox controllers show up as P1, P2. Arcade controllers bind as P3, P4 respectively) but that is cumbersome and I want to keep the arcade controls as P1 and P2 so I don't have to rebind everything each time if I just want to play single or 2 player. Any ideas on forcing Windows to recognize the controllers as P3 and p4 when they are connected? Maybe I'm setting them up incorrectly in xpadder? Any help would be great. Thank you!
  2. I appreciate the replies everyone. I actually figured it out on my own. The tutorial I posted instructs you to add the following params line in HyperHQ "Ready Player One" -f "D:\Arcade\HyperSpin.exe" -p HyperSpin" This was calling an Emulators.ini that didn't exist (in this case blktiger.) I removed the command line completely and kept the alternate emulators filled out as before and everything started launching fine. Thanks again for the help!
  3. Hello all. New to Hyperspin here, working my way through the process. I'm attempting to build a Ready Player One theme that includes all the referenced games in the book (excluding text adventures or anything that requires use of a keyboard). The .xml only includes MAME games and a few Atari 2600 games. I used the how-to below but cannot get the games to launch from Hyperspin. They launch fine from Rocket Launcher and all the games come up green when audited (used the alternate emulator tab to define each game). I get the attached error when I try to launch them from the wheel however. Any ideas? I'm thinking I screwed something up in HyperHQ? Thank's in advance!

  5. Hello everyone. First time poster here. I recently built my first bartop arcade and am slowly putting together hyperspin. I've run into a bit of a snag with Retroarch however. When launching RA through HP to play some PSX games I'll get an .exe error with RA. This only happens on certain games. Others launch correctly. If I launch the problem games directly from Rocket Launcher they run fine? So the issue is somewhere in Hyperspin. Is it an issue in the .ini? Something to do with the RA module? I'm running RA 1.1. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
