Tried to go with MAME and a new 0.284 install, default options "select all" but setup immediately (at 5%) reports "failed, MAME plugin missing" (or similar) and the wizard hangs at "Preparing MAME installation". EDIT: ok found the plugin in main view, and after I installed it, things worked for me - also with apparently 44xxx games I certainly don't have

On a specific Wheel (of several), I`m currently not able to skip forward (push joy to the right) to the next letter of games. Also, on going left (backwards), it always goes straight to A. This used to work fine on all wheels, it still does on the other wheels, and I don`t understand what`s wrong on that specific wheel. Does anyone have any idea on this issue? I didn`t find any configuration that would enable or prevent this behavior. Thank you!

Hi all! for years it seemed necessary to manipulate back and forth different XML structures with a number of tools that now mostly are obsolete. Coming across @r0man0`s full list approach I`m wondering, whether that has now changed? While not perfect, I seem to be able to generate a full list of current MAME version 0.284b, with a lot of detail to each game, and directly stuff it into Hyperspin in expected format. My question: is there a reason why I would now strip that full list to just the ROMs I have? Or does Hyperspin simply only show the games for which there is a Wheel logo available, and so I could just ensure I match the Wheel logos and other artwork to just the ROMs I actually have? For MAME Genres I realize I can now directly use the full list as input to Don`s Filter Hyperlist tool and export the desired subset, again with a Hyperlist compatible XML. I`m thankful for any feedback, corrections or comments in the quest to keep maintenance as low as possible. Thx davyd
