The KS was really just for the additional cables. There were a few complications on this KS that we will talk more about later. This KS has absolutely nothing to do with the gun. We were kind of hoping to get the gun ready for this KS but it has been a few crazy months. The Gun will be produced regardless of if a KS. We may add a single player version of the 4-play on this KS and still possibly an early bird Interfacer product. Though these are not confirmed just yet.

"you missed it"? - No, the video is for the gun tracking, not the game tracking. That will come next (easy part).
-
Ok so please excuse the beta look and the blurry screen. The video has some green pix-elation and the preview video cuts off the top edge(just keep the mouse off the video). This video shows duck tracking. The video on the LCD screen is duck hunt in action recorded miss hits and slowed down to make cretin the white box shows on at least one frame. The gun is tracking the white flashes. Next up I hope to get footage from the console.

If you were not on 1.54 then there are lots of changes! Dolphin Win8.1 and 10 fix Linux ubuntu acting as ps3 fix Mac mavericks and above acting as a mouse fix (Confirmed to work with open-emu) n64 detection fix PSX digital mode fix sega 6 button detection fix FFB constant force improvements CD32 timing issues fixed Fix rumble not always starting Refined dreamcast and how cards work added ZX spect added real n64 range added a power option to 3d0 Pcsx2 slowdowns fixed.

yeah, that's too bad. but I guess it does not really fit anywhere. The n64 range was a fix for the "fix" about the n64 range > LOL that is a mouth full. So at one point someone raised the point that no n64 emulatord use the real n64 range (except that one plugin). for info, n64 does not do 0-255 like most others, it does 0-200 or some such non-sense, maybe 7 bit. Anyways we adjusted the range to 0-254 for the controller only. Sadly, bit logic would not work because of the crazy range seen on the wire. So we had no choice but to multiply it by a ratio. The down fall here is that it is possible someone could have a controller that did an over flow. x*y=255 and 255 = 0. So if you push up or down hard enough you loop over and man you do not want that in a game! Well, we found a case where one guy had a controller doing this. So I adjusted the offset to fix his case. This code may have to get reverted or changed to compensate for clipping.

Firmware 1.54 is now considered stable and 1.55 is available. See version_log in the download section for details.

Hey guys, looking for some team support! In en effort to get the KS some exposure we did a few reddit posts. Redit posts severely dependent upon upvotes. If you feel the 4-play projects deserves the attention please show your support and give it an upvote. https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/comments/4i1s5e/all_in_one_console_controller_to_usb_adapter/d2ulhhl https://www.reddit.com/r/emulation/comments/4i23gg/blissbox_4play_console_controller_cables_all_in/d2ucvu5

Nice posts! AVAR can tweak then when he lands... "So any option to get the 4 cables that would be missing?" Yes I just notified everyone on the forums that it's the perfect time to sell off any cables they have. Many people have some of the new ones and may be looking to sell them off. I asked them to sell on the KS under comments, so keep an eye on that. Also I'm sure there will be some overflow after the KS, so we will sell them off then. Remember KS's are not sales gimmicks or a way to make money, its a community thing. If you buy more then you need, trust me! They will be hot items to sell. You could easily profit from this KS by buying and selling.

I knew someone was going to comment on my wife's alien. Oh right this reward is with a 4-play, you need to wait for the existing cables to be unlocked. Stretch Goal IV Because we can not make the old cables without a lofty order. My neighbor is old, like in his 70's. Wesfranks took that pic from the forums

That is this kit. There was some confusion about this. This is a match of what the conses have on the front of their systems. This does not take in to consideration the multi taps. The PC is for PC-game pads. See the description. The Wii accessory are things like the nunchucks.

It's go time. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/544088930/bliss-box-4-play-universal-video-game-controller-a none of those selections categories fit?

75k, if someone can tell me how to post there I would. AVAR is a moderator, so maybe he can.

He when a bit over board, hope he sells some of that to get back some of his money. Honestly guys, AVAR did this because he believed in the product so much. I didn't add a dime to his cause, he really put a lot of work in to this. I think the Interfacer alone will fun this kick starter if we can hit that stretch goal. If anything please pledge in his name, the guy really spent a crap tone of money. Although this KS is designed for the cables it can open doors to the start of something great and AVAR will be part of it. So this KS is just as much part of him as it is part of me and the Bliss-Box company. 3 cheers for AVAR and all he has done. Interfacer spoiler. It is being developed to work on any light gun with or without the Bliss-box. The Bliss-Box just allows you to use it on your computer. For example if you build an arcade machine with MAME, it will let you use the gun without modifications. This thing is going to be amazing!

We will cross that bridge when we come to it, its very beta right now. Sorry but I have to hold back all of those details for now. Everything is subject to change so I'd hate to lead you in one direction and have that change.

K will go line from 7-9 pm EST ...
-
It means you two may be the lucky beta testers Interfacer is correct, and it does interface. In specific, it interfaces with light. Pre-requirements; One light gun of any kind (includes arcade stand up units). And a TV or monitor that is not a CRT/(NTSC or PAL).

Black Hazor, yes, unfortunately it's not easy to get a full setup as it would require a much higher KS goal in order for us to make more of the original cables as well. To get you closer to that goal, however, we've added an Enthusiast Kit with four-of-a-kind of the newer cables plus an original 4-play bundle. Picking up the extra cables can be done by either upgrading when we hit the relevant stretch goal or via the forums, where they become available from time to time. Hope that helps!

Hey everyone! The moment you've been waiting for is almost here. The Bliss-Box Kickstarter will be kicking off in a few days so we'd like to take this opportunity to share a preview of its contents. Feel free to make requests or provide feedback at any time throughout the Kickstarter event. We want to work hard to make sure we do everything in our power to accomodate the needs of the community. Thanks so much for your support and for helping us to preserve gaming history and culture for generations to come! Click here for the preview!

Just to add - This one will have the additional cables and a really cool stretch goal option.

Project API startup: Hey all, any coders out there? Bliss-Box is looking for anyone interested in developing a new bootloader for the 4-play. To put it simple we will write a few bytes via the EEPROM to configure the 4-play. This would give users the ability to do their own mappings, or startup in certain modes. You could also supply a start up command then later read the result. This would be handy for writing game data to mempacks and what not. So this could be a very exciting project. Skills require would be: Some type of gui development knowledge of usb HID communication. consider cross platform. If you are interested contact us by any means including a forum reply. This is not a job offer as that would not be inappropriate on the forums here. This is a feeler and specific to the HS community. The HS community is the only community that has requested this idea. The device can handle it but the software needs to be developed. On my personal time I have made a few DX apps to work with the API but find DX wrappers are a pain to work with and simple things are holding back development. The 4-play is undergoing a huge stage right now and all software development is put on hold. So we are reaching back. Let us know if you are interests.

If you heard the rumors about a Bliss-Box Kickstarter, they're true! It's happening in April and there will be lots to look forward to. We've been sure to include all sorts of reward options for people to get a set of cables that suits their needs and we're adding new cables to the mix to expand our impressive adapter capabilities. On top of that, we're working on a brand new product. While we can't speak to the nature of it as of yet, we really expect it to "light" up your life once it's finished. Expect the official announcement to roll out soon. If we make enough development progress, it might even be included in the Kickstarter. As our way of thanking you all and to celebrate the new Kickstarter, we'll be hosting a fun contest giveaway for a Bliss-Box 4-play. We're really looking forward to everyone's participation and we hope it brings back cherished memories for us all. Look forward to more details closer to the contest date! Please take a moment to thank the AV Archivist! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOLGDbv1I-BBSK-ZnTi4G0A?sub_confirmation=1 Avar's dedicated a lot of time helping Bliss-Box reach out to the community. He's been a big help with planning as well as with Kickstarter developments and he's even got some great Bliss-Box related videos coming your way, including more awesome tutorials! We also want to give special thanks to HyperSpin and to EmuMovies http://emumovies.com/ for supporting us. Finally, we wish to give special recognition to Sub-Zero for creating our awesome new logo and for his work with Avar. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT58dqgjZkZarpvL2xn67tQ. Finally, Thank YOU! Bliss-Box had a great year and we are finally starting to gain momentum. The internet is loaded with nothing but great reviews on our first product. This speaks volumes to us and we couldn't be more pleased that you're all enjoying it so much. We hope to continue to make products that stand out and enhance your gaming experience even further!

That is why this is here, so you don't have to solder. It's a screw in connector, like speaker wire in car audio. You could get some large heat shrinkable tubing and a hairdryer to shrink it when you have the right wires connected. This is also perfect for built in cab's. You could extend the HDMI length with 2 cat 5 cables.

Did you see the new D.I.Y connectors on the shop page? It makes life easy.
