Hello, My thread has been updated. Bad news for flat pack buyers and good news for assembled cab buyers. Sorry if you are losing confidence in me. Just went to add some pics taken awhile back of what's included in each flat pack. But, my entire 4 gb flash card just crapped out on me! I added 2 pics I had elsewhere. They show the main cab parts all cutout. The 2nd pic shows the backbox parts just after they were cut out on the CNC. I will re-take the pics of everything included in the flat pack and post them up by the Weekend. Note that if you are local to Central NJ. we have decided to offer unfinished/finished cabinet shells starting this Weekend. Details to follow but they will be VERY affordable. Hi, I agree that Gottlieb lock down bars have become nearly impossible to find. That's why we decided to make our own stainless steel lockdown bars. We can make any size bar needed. We can also create a custom width flat pack to go with a custom width lock down bar. The bars are made in the same way as recently released bars at $150. But, they will not have the leading edge crimp dimple on the top. They will have decent rounded corners though. In our testing during gameplay these bars were preferred over the original Gottlieb bar due to a larger flat top area for the palms. The best thing is there's no longer a need to decase the playfield LCD. You can buy a 37", 42",46", 47" LCD TV and make a custom cab / lock down bar combo to fit it! You can also ask for a much smaller custom lock down bar for your own mini-pin. We are very sensitive to price so our custom lock down bars are being released at just $75. We are also reducing our flat pack prices to $345. Plus, if you buy a flat pack / lock down bar combo it's only $395, that discounts the bar to just $50! I will update the flat pack thread later this Weekend to reflect the changes. I will also supply pics of the bars. PS: Any recent flat pack buyers will automatically receive a $50 refund to reflect the lower pricing. Plus they will be given the opportunity to buy their own lock down bar for $50. Thanks, Jack

Hello, This is a subjective topic and estimates vary widely but I would say just over $3K for a 3 monitor pin. This price range has been quoted many times on the forums from other DIY'ers. You of course can save money by cutting corners on the cabinet ( finding a real parted out pin instead of a flat pack, or buying your own wood and cutting it). This is not counting any labor costs of course. That's the best part of doing it yourself, your labor does not cost you anything!

Hello, We are finally getting back to normal business after the Holiday rush. We currently have a 3 monitor setup designed for a 42"-46" playfield using a 26" wide body lock down bar. Inside width is aprox. 24.5". The backbox is made for a 32" LCD but we can design a slightly smaller backbox for you at no extra charge. I would just need the brand of LCD you are using so I can look up the measurements. If you decased it I would need you to supply measurmeents. We also offer custom CAD designed and CNC cut black textured plastic playfield and backglass bezels as well as DMD's too. Prices vary by size. There's no link to purchase our flatpacks as they are not on E-bay as of yet. But the description of what you get for the $395 price is at the beginning of the thread. Hello, Thanks for the kind words. We were backed up with full size pin builds during the Holidays but we are finally shipping out flat packs again. Funny you should ask that Mini-Pin question. We are in the process of building out very first prototype Mini-pin! We are building it so that a standard 22" lockdown bar will fit the cab. This means you can place a 24" or a 28" playfield LCD in it! Once done we will offer that kit. Pricing will be less than our current 42"/46" model. Thanks, Jack

glennforum, You posted a general flat pack availability question on this forum on 10/8. Another forum member posted a similar question right after yours. I responded to both of these questions on 10/12 by saying that no flat packs are available until at least November. I respond to e-mails ASAP, often in minutes to a few hours but always in 24 hours. Jusrt wanted to alert everyone that we updated the Flat Pack product details in the beginning of the thread with the following information; Every Flat Pack now include the staples and stick wood we use to build our own pins and arcade games! We build our own pins using 1.25 " Narrow Crown staples with a pneumatic staple gun. We use clamps to secure the pieces together and then staple from the outside edge to make a nice square cabinet. Then we cut 3/4" pine into 3/4" by 3/4" square stick wood. Then we place/shoot the stick wood into places where the wood forms an inside corner. Makes for a very strong cab! You just need to supply the staple gun and compressor. The air gun and compressor can be rented for the day at Home Depot for a small fee. Most people have access to the compressor. The gun can be purchased for as little as $39 at harbor freight. Link below. http://www.harborfreight.com/2-in-1-...ler-66902.html Then you would need to buy a small can of auto body filler and some plastic spreaders ( about $10 total). We use the filler to smooth out the staple idents on the outside of the cab. You would also need some 80-100 grit sandpaper to sand smooth ( good enough if applying artwork). We will post detailed "How To" pics of this cab building method soon!

Clarification Time - I have also modified my original announcement about selling "Complete Plug N Play Games". I have reached an agreement with BadBoyBill to use Hyperpin in the Pins we build. If you order a Pin from us the game would be complete except for the Tables/ROMs. They can easily be downloaded from sites like VPForums. The artwork from our very first Pin (Bent98's thread) will not be used. We have created our own artwork from scratch for our 2nd pin that will be completed/delivered this week. I will post pics/videos of that game shortly. THat artwork and aeveral other versions of it will be developed in order to offer game buyers a choice of designs. Yes, gameplay is stutter free!

Hi Alex, Sorry. I just saw your PM. Still trying to get used to looking for them regularly. We cut out our cab just like BadBoyBill's. We do not cut at angle angles for a miter joint. Take a look at Bent98's pics in the build thread link and you will see how it's made. We use a Pneumatic staple gun with 1-1/4" staples to first assemble the pieces together after they are put together with clamps. Then we use autobody filler to smooth out the staple dents. Then we cut 3/4" pine boards into 3/4" by 3/4" square strips and then place them in the inside cab corners and shoot on both sides. Makes for a very strong cab even without the stick wood. The stickwood adds the final rigidity. We use the same stick work for our arcade games. The cab sides are on the outside of the front coin door piece which forms 2 seams. We use a very thin autobody filler again to achieve a flush finish. All told the minor filler work we do takes about 1 hour. Thanks, Jack

Yes, the cost to ship the the UK would be more than the cost of the flat pack. I think the only way to make is cost effective is if 5-10 flat packs were bundled together on a pallet and then Ocean freighted overseas. Jack

We can make any size bar needed. We have recently changed our standard bar depth from 2" to 3". .It's more like a standard Williams / Bally bar now. In our testing during gameplay these bars were preferred over the original Gottlieb bar due to a larger flat top area for the palms. We also use a thicker gauge steel than seen with a real pinball lockdown bar. The results are near perfect! Please see the pics at the end of this thread. The original refinished Gottlieb bar is on the bottom of the first pic. The bars above it are custom ones we made at 26" and 28" wide. The best thing is there's no longer a need to decase the playfield LCD. You can buy a 37", 42",46", 47" LCD TV and make a custom cab / lock down bar combo to fit it!
