  1. I was just as excited as everyone else, and maybe things will improve over time. However, it feels like this is essentially just a Launchbox clone with a wheel management GUI. It seems your main priority is locking things down to prevent people from selling the drive, which I feel is the wrong approach. The focus should be on empowering users who contribute and build the community. One of the reasons Hyperspin succeeded was because of the strong community that helped shape it. Requiring Emumovie or making it the sole media source was a misstep, in my opinion. As a lifetime member of both platforms, I don’t want to be forced into using it. I want the freedom to use the media I’ve created for my games. I stopped using Launchbox years ago, and I’m not sure I want to switch to a Launchbox clone(Hyperbox 2.0), even if it has a few more bells and whistles. If anything, Hyperspin Attraction (based on AttractMode+) would have been a better model to follow, not Launchbox. At least HA still uses rlauncher to launch games. AttractMode lets you create smart themes for each game within the frontend, which gives more flexibility. I loaded PlayStation, and the theme looks outdated, with the CD being an oblong disc instead of a circle. Hyperspin 2.0 should bring something fresh and new to the table.
