  1. OK so I have a noob question. Are people using a generic template for the dimensions of the artwork for their cab, or are they measuring out their own cabinets? I ask this because i see people are having other people do the artwork for them. I am going to attempt to create my own in photoshop (or at least play around with ideas). Thanks
  2. So I have to ask - how are people planning on handling games that don't use roms? Such as JP's Spiderman/Pirates? Are you going to run both the monitor display and the DMD display? Is there currently a way to program to use the actual Vishay DMD w/o rom support?
  3. According to them, they only have 1 left and won't be getting anymore in. May have to buy direct and sounds like prices have increased dramatically suddenly..hmmmmm...
  4. I'm running Win 7 - 64bit and I do see the flashing, but table loading/exiting just takes a couple seconds. Hyperpin boots right up, no delay. I do see a bit of a delay in the wheel turning. One thing I've started to notice lately is that Hyperpin isn't coming back into focus after exit, or sometimes the table isn't in focus when a table is loaded. I didn't used to have this issue at all, and no particular changes have been made to make it start doing this. All of this may in fact be part of the same issue as the inability to take a screen cap.
  5. Was that ever released?
  6. I've been messing with the latest WIP and everything seems to work great. (Except screen printing of FP tables in Win7---which I think you are already aware of. I also seem to ahve an issue of the visual pinball menu coming up when I bring up the menu in a game, and it does not go away when returning to the game, however I think that is due to that I still use "esc" as my primary button.
  7. Oh nice!! I didn't see this. I will put it on the cab Print Screen yay! **Update - OK so I installed this, and it seems to work fine, except I don't see any of the new features? Is there some change I need to make? I'm using the files that were named the normal FPLaunch and AHK.
  8. Thanks Max, I take from what you say that it is not required. I just wanted to double check.
  9. Ok, I have a newb question, but I'm no electrician When bringing a main plug in to power everything, do I run the ground to a leg bolt?
  10. I am pretty sure just hook these up like 3 knockers(with ground daisy chained. I know there are instructions in the manual for doing that..
  11. Thanks, didn't realize that. It should be fine
  12. Thanks for the links and info. I have never seen that thread. I think this info will get me started when I finally get around to trying it. I am thinking I will replace my PacLED64 with 2 led-wizs. I would prefer not to as I like some of the affects I can create with that board, but since I don't think it works with the scripts, I can't adjust them to specific tables (that is beyond my knowledge how to incorporate it into that autoconfig). I will need an led-wiz anyway for the higher voltage stuff
  13. Actually yes lol OK so serious question. I have an old EM xylaphone like assembly from the machine I used that is still in working order. I assume I would wire it like a knocker (as it uses 3 knockers to hit 3 different bars giving different tones)..but they have plastic "hitters" so I think they may be less power? I'll have to double check. My question is, is there any programming in VP or any of the scripts that you guys have made that would allow me to utilize this to make the "bell" sounds of an EM machine? Or anyone know how I would go about scripting such a thing? I thought it might be a cool unique addition to my cab. Perhaps wiring it like the contacters you guys are using to give that "bing" sound when you hit targets and such, but only on certain tables (using the LED scripts I guess). Sorry it's late and kind of brainstorming as I post
  14. BWAHAHA. Funny thing is, my wife manages one such type of store and I had already asked her what the strongest shaking item was with this in mind...lmao
  15. I saw that someone did this too and liked it. Dont think I have enough room, but I am considering mounting LED's on the bottom of my backbox(through from the inside) pointing down, and cutting a mirror to place as a bezel over the PF under the glass. Thus, hopefully creating the illusion of more lights, without having them. I am not sure yet if this is going to give the desired effect or if it will cause an overload of reflections, but we shall see!
  16. Disregard, I totally misunderstood the question doh!
