I have SOME of the originals. For some reason HyperMint stopped working correctly when i was trying to create originals the 2nd time, and i can no longer get it to create a list of originals (the middle part, no borders) on it. I will upload the originals that i have.

LOL i had no idea you already made an app hahah. I'll upload my app and it's written in AHK, i'll send you code if you want to do anything with it. I cobbled together a most-recent-available version of romlister (mame 1.79-1.80ish) and made a ton of lists for different types of controls-- this way anyone can make custom wheels/genre for just the stuff they can play on their machine. I had to rename some of your files to avoid conflicts with updated/newer versions, so, this *should* play nice without overwriting anything if user gets your newer or updated versions of genre sorts. If they want to incorporate it into program i built, they just rename it to match the scheme i used... i figured best of both worlds. Again, you did AMAZING work my man, thank you very much. I'll send you a link when i upload, maybe it's a companion app. Mine is very similar and maybe a little easier because I just move all the XML files into database folder and then write a custom mame genre.xml based on what is selected. r0man0 this is fantastic. I used this to make a program that helps you quickly make a custom Genre.xml file. You use checkboxes and pick what options you want, and then it gives you custom made XML.
