hyperdennis Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 hi guys, need some advice on where to look because i think my settings are correct. When i try to start a game from hyperspin i get a error : Cannot find rom with any provided extension. When i open RLUI, i can launch any game from the system audit screen. In the HYPERHQ app, i've setup the correct rom path and the correct extions. IN the hyperspin directory, mame.ini is also correctly setup So what more should i check now? (Yes, i do have the roms inside that directory)
baddeolv Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 In rlui set skip checks to "rom only". Also disable 7z for mame Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
gigapig Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I can't tell if you have run the transition tool or not as the parameters don't look right, execution should be set to normal, Rom path and exetension must not be set. Go back to the Transition tool page and read section 3b.
hyperdennis Posted June 26, 2015 Author Posted June 26, 2015 the problem was solved with setting the execution to normal THANKS FOR THE HELP!!
aclaes Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 thanks I had the same problem the problem was solved with setting the execution to normal
Sliwka Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 What about if you select a game and it just stays on the game select screen?
doomteam1 Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 everything else works. Just not the videos playing, the begging system video plays, the games are all linked up. just not thevideo for each individual game. i have it pointing to the right directory in hyperhq as well
pofo14 Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Are the videos named properly? (The need to match the db/xml file, i.e. mame.xml). Does it say video not found or does it play a fuzzy screen?
doomteam1 Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 sorry i posted in the wrong thread. ignore my above post
crptic1 Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 I had the same problem with Hyperspin not launching Mame. I was able to fix this. Under Emulators in Hyperlaunch Hq for Mame re direct the emulator exe to use Mameui, exe I got mine working. Make sure your AHK version matches your Emulator version.
