jcrowley30 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Unable to create Direct3D device (8876086C) Anyone come across this error. The rest of my emulators work but 2 different versions of mame are giving me this error now out of the blue. Edit: For some reason my MAME does not play nice when I change my resolution to 1776 x 1000.
nygiantsrule Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I'm having this error as well. New to hyperspin and been following the SimplyAustin tutorials (Thanks Austin!) and got stuck with MAME.
dougan78 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I get that when launching games via remote desktop. Then i run them at the computer just fine. Other than that test updating video drivers. Change to directdraw instead is an option but would not recommend it as a permanent fix. Good luck.

sevenseal Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Thanks.....how do i go about fixing it? Currently working off of Windows 10.you could use thirdparty remote pc application as such teamviewer, jumpdesktop, google, etc but all of them required that you install a service program on the pc to function the way you are seeking. the out come is base on your hardware specs epecially your gpu if it can handle the load of rendering locally and remotely at the same time.the only real fix for this is not to remotely access computer period and use the pc locally to make sure it renders everything right, streaming is a new age, hopefully they will have something better soon. me personally, i just use moonlight for pc to check the actual setup but requires a nvidia card 660+newer
