herbert Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 I am needing help on how to set up an exit key for my sega , n64, and ps one emulator. I want to make an exit button from the roms in these emulators instead of the esc key on my keyboard. I am using GP 40 keywhiz and everything works great, I just cant exit from the roms in these emulators back to the emulator wheel.
32assassin Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 so you want to do a N64 =project64 escape = ALT + F4 Why the ESC button works great for every single emulator? I also have the GP40 Keywiz, first off make sure you are using Hyperlaunch 2.xxx, and instead of using the keywiz as a joystick device; enable Xpadder support and create a xpadder profile for each system. Hyperlaunch will automatically load each unique xpadder profile for each emulator, when you run it.
mameshane Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 you should be using the exit emulator key that's in the hyperlaunch.ini file you can set that to what ever you want(even a combination of buttons) when pressed hyperlaunch will send the appropriate information through to the emulator to close it. you don't have to set up exit key within each emulator. My Cab.. 1-UP ARCADE new hyperspin irc details.. come hang out!
Dogway Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Is it possible to define a custom exit key per system? I see Exit_Emulator_Key_Wait setting for Hyperlaunch but I fear that's not exactly what I mean (tried and didn't work) Also what is Restore_Front_End_On_Exit setting for?
