Modules... I Come Seeking Knowledge

Hi, everyone!

I was thrilled with Nestopia for years until just a few weeks ago when I upgraded my vid card and Nestopia refused to work in full screen mode.  It's the only emulator to behave this way with the new vid card!  So.  I got fed up and downloaded JNes (I tried Mess, it was too big a pain in the ass for me.)

I grabbed a module for the first time from this site...  for JNes...  to allow for full screen upon activation (since JNes refuses to save that setting on its own.)

My question is, what am doing with this module?  Am I putting it in the "Modules" folder?  I did that and nothing seems to have changed.  Am I supposed to copy > stuff from the module and paste > it into a different file?

Even though I am capable of quite a bit when it comes to HyperSpin — I am really a still noob when it comes to a lot of these things — sorry.

Any help is appreciated!

Modules are what tells HyperLaunch/RocketLauncher how to run an emulator. Updated modules would go into the HyperLaunch folder. RocketLauncher is the new version of HyperLaunch and it updates itdelf automatically.

Once you have the new module in the HyperLaunch/Modules you then need to tell that system to use that module. Click on Global on the left, click on the emulators tab, find NES (or Jnes however they have it) on the list and double click it, tell it to use the new module instead of the old.

Once that's done click on the NES system on the left and then click on the modules tab, click the module you're now using from the list. First click on the icon to read the module notes so you know what needs to be done. Then click the small icon above to edit the selected module settings. That should open the options screen for the module/emulator. Just remember to follow the notes for any other steps that aren't covered in the settings.

That's generally how it works.

Thanks so much, man.  I shall attempt this soon.
