Hyperspin wont load cue files after update....

Hey Guys,

I have been racking my brain on this issue for awhile now and thought I would ask the community for help since I just cant figure it out.

I have had the PS1 setup on my wheel for a few months now.  It always worked great.  I am using the ePSXe emulator setup with a Virtual drive / SCSI loading the cue file.  Never had a problem with it at all.

After updating rocket launcher a few days ago, I decided to play a PS1 game,  now this is where my issues start. I get a "You have a invalid Cue File, Please Check It for Errors" Error on every single game I try.  No game will load from within Hyperspin and every one gives the same error.

So here is where things get weird,  The PS1 emu works great if I load a game from Rocket-launcher itself and not from within Hyperspin.  Every game work's and the drive mounts the file and there is no problems, So the fact that all my PS1 games used to work in Hyperspin and now they only work from within Rocketlaucher with no Cue file errors is why I believe it is not a problem with my cue files but a problem with a setting that has changed somewhere since the update, however I have looked and looked and just cant figure it out.

so what do you guys think?  Has anyone seen this issue before?

Copy the extensions list from your old retroacrch resrup. Copy that into the glabal extensions for RetroArch in your new ricketlsuncher build

Hi,

So i am not using Retroarch at all.  I do not even have it setup on my system.  I am using the ePSXe emulator.

can you explain to me how to transition over? n thanks

so the thing is that i am not actually transitioning from Hyperlaunch.  I have been running Rocketlauncer on my system for a long time.  I don't think I ever had a hyperlaunch. Do I really need a transition?

ahh ok well I did the transition for hyperspin and the PS1 roms are working now..)  wow  that was interesting.  However I did notice that my HyperHQ parameters are very different for every system on my wheel.  Just a quick glance at hyperhq and i see that it added params, as well as striped my rom dir pointer and rom extension.  it also changed all systems to run normal instead of using hyperlaunch.  I now need to go through my wheel and see what works and what doesn't i guess.

that is because Hyperspin 1.3 and below was designed to work with Hyperlaunch.

Hypespin 1.3 always looks for Hyperlaunch.   if you tell it to use Rocketlauncher it will tell you WTF!!!!!!!!!   I only date Hyeprlaunch.

if you decide to upgrade to Hyperspin 1.4  you will need to go into HyperHQ  and undo everything by changing your executable from normal back to Hyperlaunch.

or you will get an "No emulator found a....."  error.

and on a side note.   you should look at using other emulators,  that can load Bin files directly,  their is no need for a CUE file or deamontools.  ---->  AKA = faster loading
