Double Dragon on MAME [HyperSpin] : sound issue

Hi everybody,

 

HyperSpin works fine here.

However, I've got a frustrating issue: Double Dragon (the orginal arcade version) is working well, BUT some sounds are not playing well, for exemple when I hit an opponent.

 

Any idea on how to fix this?

Do you have the MAME Extras pack downloaded that contains the missing sound samples? If not try grabbing that and see if it fixes it.

Although I'm not sure if DD is one of the games that needs it. You could test it by playing Zaxxon and if you don't have the sounds then you're missing the MAME EXTRA files.
