Emulate PC games in Hyperspin

Hi, would I need to install the PC game first before setting these up in HyperSpin ? the only reason I ask is my operating system for this project has been setup on anohter drive to be installed in the bartop arcade.

* I have a separate drive for my roms, should I just install the games onto this ? - ( its not going to install any random crap onto my PC operating system ? as this will not be in the arcade bartop if that makes sense)

I have all my PC Games in the Same Hard Drive like my Roms. All are on a separate HDD weile hyperspin Self and the operating System is on my ssd. World Perfect

I've found that some games also install bits to your system/OS drive and registry regardless of where you install the actual game.

So for example if you install the game onto a separate HDD and then plug that HDD into a different computer that game will not run because it's missing those hidden files/registry entries. When I built a new PC for my cab and moved my H: Hyperspin files over about half (more?) of my non-Steam PC games quit working.

Steam games also seem to need to be on the system drive and have their hooks into other files too. Because of this I now keep all PC games (Steam and non-Steam) installed on my OS/System C: drive and I keep everything else Hyperspin (HS, RL, all apps, all emus, all roms, all CHD's, all ISOs, all media etc...) on a separate H: drive
