100% Portable Setup - Thoughts

Hi everyone, as the topic states I'm thinking of a 100% Portable Setup with HS + Windows in the same HDD.

I was researching about Windows portability and found that Win2USB can make Windows 8/8.1 totally portable, though I didn't try it myself.

My current setup is basically Windows in C: and everything HS related to K: Which is an external HDD.

I don't know if I can post the link where I found basic instructions on how to make windows 8 portable, the steps are really simple and here is a fragment of those instructions, I cut this very part because it clarifies that Windows 8 can be totally portable, though Windows 7 can't be totally portable.

"What You'll Need (and What You'll Get)

You only need a few simple things to make this work. They include:

A Windows installation disc or ISO imageWe recommend using Windows 8. Windows 8 will allow you to use your portable installation on any computer, but Windows 7 is not as portable and may have driver or activation issues if you use it on other computers. (If you must use Windows 7, this alternative method may be preferable)"

So, you guys can please share your thoughts on that?

What issues those who want a portable setup would face?

Thanks for reading.

PS: I'm running Windows 8.1 both in a Dell tablet and in my desktop over 2 years and I really got used to it, everything I use/need is compatible with older softwares/games/emulators.

I jumped from Windows XP directly to Windows 8.1

Yeah, but Why wouldn't they work?

I install PC games in K: which is the external drive, I understand that some games needs registry in C: but in that point, being Windows installed in K: wouldn't they work also?

BTW, Ubisoft games won't work in External HDDs, the only one I managed to make work was Far Cry 1, but actually I don't care about having new PC games in my setup as they are gigantic (in GBs and gameplay).
