grrrrrant Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I can load and play games perfectly using one controller. But I loaded up Super Mario 3 tonight to play 2 players with the girlfriend and only 1 controller would work the game. I've tried to config retroarch to use 2 controllers but everytime I set one up, the other quits working. I'm using wireless 360 controllers FYI. They work awesome in all of my other systems. Any advice? Is it something I'm simply looking over? Thanks for any info. SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Are you saving the Config file and renaming it once you set up your controls mate. Also, although it may be working, the pads may have the wrong drivers installed.... Simply Austin's YouTube
SkyHighGam3r Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Just a thought, but maybe in your input settings, you have both P1 and P2 set to the same X360 controller up at the top. I don't think retroarch has a way of title-ing them so it is easily to see which controller is which.Personally, I have 2 controllers setup via xpadder to different keys and then just set RetroArch to only recognize keyboard inputs. That solved about 90% of my input issues.
grrrrrant Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 Austin, yes I save and name my configs just as you show in your tutorials. I'm using 2 wireless 360 controllers but only 1 wireless usb receiver. I'll have to try o sort this out as it's driving me bonkers! Thank you guys for the feedback!
grrrrrant Posted October 14, 2015 Author Posted October 14, 2015 Somehow my joy driver was set on dinput. I got it figured out. Thanks guys!
SkyHighGam3r Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I don't know exactly what that means (direct input, xinput, etc) lol but I'm glad you got it figured out.
thcdgaf Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 xinput is for xbox controllers direct input means others i guess just know xinput lol
