Hyperspin disk cloning

Hello ladies!

Just would like to call on your experience/expertise.

I'm trying to make a backup of my hyperspin setup since setting up my bartop. Currently I have a 1tb drive that I would like to clone to a larger disk.

I've been trying disk cloning through macrium reflect however the cloning process keeps failing.

I'm concerned my main disk is about to give its last gasp...

I would like recommendations on reliable disk cloning software before this ends in tears (free if possible).

Cheers

1. Clonzilla.

2. Windows backup to usb. Install windows on new drive restore full backup from usb.

3. 60 bucks startech disk cloner box. Plug both hard drives in press copy button.

2 free 1 pay. Good luck.

Is your HS drive just HS or is it your OS also?

It's on my OS drive (c:) Jeremy.

Worse comes to worse I'll just copy the HS folder to a external drive for now and reinstall Windows on a new drive.

As it turns out I got macrium to work before I got to try clonezilla.

I was running a powered hard disk dock (for my external drive) but I remembered I had it plugged into a usb hub. Plugged the dock directly into the pc (skipping the hub) and it worked flawlessly.

~7.5 hours to clone 870gb hyperspin setup.

Did you have any issues changing the drive letter to be exact with your OS drive? I'm thinking of doing the same but don't want to have to go back and change the location of each emulator and such.
