dcraun Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 Dump != mod Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Not sure what you mean their are PC blue ray drives capable of dumping original ps4 discs. I could dump a game to the internet and i don't even own a ps4.I'm asking if their is a way to use these iso's on a retail ps4 at this time.
Guest Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 People dump the games to have dumps. They are collectors. Just because a systems games can be dumped, doesn't mean the system can be modded to play these dumps, or that there is an emulator for the system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
boohiss Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 PS3 discs got dumped way before any kind of hack, let alone backups being playable. Same thing happened with the WiiU. People collect these PS4 dumps either just to collect them, or in hopes that a way to play them comes at some point later. Keep in mind though, that the dumps might turn out to not be usable in their current state anyways. PS3 disc images got dumped at first, only to have the console hack require a "jailbreak" type format to play backups instead.
dcraun Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 Thank guys I'm aware that people collect roms Im a collector too "My Hyperspin setup is approaching 12 Tb". I just wanted to make sure i didn't miss any thing because ps4 dumps have been around for a while but recently seem to be flooding sites like BG
brolly Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Closing this thread as the last thing we need here is to start discussing piracy on current gen systems.
