Nintendo DS vs Gameboy Advance

Are there any games worth keeping the DS because I may delete it from my hyperspin... I only have two games for it anyways and by the looks of the games I can't see any reason worth keeping it (yeah, I can't judge a system based on two games alone but I think I'm more closer to the Gameboy era stuff anyways)

I have a bunch of Gameboy Advance stuff but only played two games and both of them seemed way better than games I've seen on the DS.

I'll give it another shot and just find something like the best Mario game on DS and compare it to the ones on Gameboy Advance.

I just don't see the need to keep both the DS and Gameboy Advance based off the comparison that I've seen so far. The games I tried on the Gameboy Advanced looked better and seemed like they were emulated (and enjoyed) better which is kinda crazy since the DS is newer but even some games on the NES blow away games on SNES so perhaps I just need to give the better DS games a try and see if it's worth keeping.

With either a mouse or if you're using a controller with analog sticks, by using the right stick to emulate mouse movement.

Ok cool thanks. I haven't set this system up yet. Don't have any analog sticks on my bartop....

Hmm, I'm not sure then. I'm not a cab user. You just need some kind of directional controls to emulate mouse movement, which simulates the stylus. Many games require it. I'd recommend using RetroArch for DS as it works much better than standalone Desmume. Make sure to grab everything from my Project topic:

Current db is at 2,221 games. Playable Japanese titles are still being tested and haven't been added yet.

Thanks for the info damned.

I'm hoping to do some of the testing for the Japanese games.

I'm currently waiting for my 4play to arrive in the post. I'll probably hook up an old n64 controller and use that for analog.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that was one of my issues when I was comparing the games on Gameboy Advance with the games on the DS.. the touch screen seemed like it was going to be a issue.
