hypersync vs drag and drop

I think I hinted at this question in another thread but wanted to start a new one as that thread has solved the topic question of that thread....

 

anyway.....

 

I got an old HS 1.2 setup on a 2tb drive I compiled years ago....I used hypersync back then to DL all my media/videos

 

 

 

Now....Ive just setup a new 2tb HDD with HS 1.4 and RL...... Ive got the newest mame set and working on some other systems

 

 

 

 

Whats the best/easiest way to get media/videos on my new drive?

*bite the bullet and use hypersync again

*drag and drop media from old drive to new (will that work?)

* or is there a way to use hypersync to direct the media I already have on the old drive to the new drive and in the correct positions?

Personally I would drag and drop and hypersync after to be sure you are up to date with what is on there if you havent in a while.

Hypersync doesnt do local syncs afaik.
