premierswan Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Hi guys, does anyone know what spec pc I would need to run mario kart arcade gp2? I read somewhere that I would need a Intel i5 processor or above, is this correct? Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
Yeuxkes Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I'm not sure about the spec but that game is running on gamecube hardware. So something similar when emulating a gamecube.
premierswan Posted December 2, 2015 Author Posted December 2, 2015 I can get gamecube to run on my cab, but mario arcade gp just crashes on loading which lead me to believe that it would run with a more powerful processor Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
Yeuxkes Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 It's quite tricky to get game to work and Dolphin often crashes on my machine too. I need a fresh reboot If I want to play any of the Triforce games. This post here helped me out to get it to work properly http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,142315.msg1473970.html#msg1473970
rastan Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Trifoce/Mario Kart Arcade... it was stable for me but was way too slow for me to want to keep it.. it was actually playable but the bad playable when it's fast enough to play it but slow enough that you notice. I ran it on a i3 (first generation) i'd say perhaps a decent i5 and i7 you should be fine (graphics wise I don't) the machine I used it on is my dedicated hyperspin machine that will be upgraded at some point.. it has a IntelHD graphics onboard.. I'm assuming a better graphics card probably would help. The version of Dolphin I used was the special one for Triforce games not the normal dolphin.

Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk being that it was playable on my i3 first generation I'd say a i5 should be fine but I would go for a later model i5 because a later generation i3 probably would be better than a first generation i5. I have a second generation i3 handy.. I should have tested it on that but I doubt it would have been that much faster.
shitoken Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Don't know the spec for MK2 , am using i7 game runs fine with 1GB GPU
